How to get there?
Travel by public bus from Bangkok direct to Mae hong son, Thailand border:
The bus depart from Bangkok northern bus station everyday.
Bangkok - Mae hong son route have only one "Sombat tour" transportation company.
The ticket is avilable at Bangkok bus station. They have two buses each day.
There are normal airconditioner and VIP bus. The bus takes about 13 hours, passes many provinces along north of Thailand.

This route is more easier, You could get the bus from many companies in
Bangkok bus station to Chiang mai and then take the bus(or mini van) to Mae hong son via highway 1095 route. The van will take about 5 hours. Another route is highway number 108 (south way).
It pass Hod, Mae Sariang, Khun Yuam and then get to Mae hong son town.
From Bangkok to Chiangmai will take 8 hours and from Chiangmai
to Mae hong son will take 7 hours.
Chiang mai to Mae hong son by airplane:
The only one airways provide is Karn Air, the route Chiang mai -Mae hong son have three fights per day.
The airways have amall airplane, they are avialable for 14 seat each fight.
